Went for a first time at office routine dental cleaning- 5
Went for a first time at office routine dental cleaning- 5 hours later I had bruises & cuts from an X-ray technician who couldn't have cared less about me as a human being, 6 fillings, a diagnosis of severe periodontal disease and a bill for $1200. I was shocked to say the least so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out all I needed was a good cleaning- no periodontal disease, severe or otherwise. And I don't need 4 more fillings as Spanish Trail said I did. Wondering if I should sue for malpractice but not sure its worth the hassle. Save yourself the trouble and doom-and-gloom dental diagnosis, not the mention the extremely high bills, and just pick another dentist.

Wow-ed
I read the reviews, and i spoke to some friends that had also went to this office, and they had good experiences, & it was convenient for me, so I tried them. I have to say it was an excellent experience. The office was so modern and clean, very clean. It was such a shock to me to have the dental office coordinate with my insurance co. back east I had to submit all my bills & get reimbursed;talk about a hassle, they did tell me that my fees were an estimate & no guarentee that it would be paid. I already knew this because the amount of time I had to personally deal with my insurance, and listening to the recordings on the automated systems. I have to say I'm not much of a techie person but to get an appointment reminder on my email was very convenient(I think 3days prior) and I recvd a call the next day to confirm my apptmnt. Almost over kill so I don't know what the one person is complaining, either answer your phone or check you email :( The one thing I would like ...

My third visit yesterday. First visit was for a cleaning.
My third visit yesterday. First visit was for a cleaning. Walked out several hundred dollars later after being convinced I needed an onlay. They wanted $800. I told them I could get my insurance to cover a crown for half that. They agreed to do the onlay for the same price. Strange. Second visit was to fix the broken onlay from the first visit. Third visit was for a cleaning. Again, they quoted me a $1600 elective procedure. By the time the 15 minutes of haggling was done, we were down to $440. Told them I would need to wait till the beginning of the year. Told me the sale price was good for one day only. After the first of the year I would have to pay more than $800. Who does that?! My wife had an appointment yesterday also. They got an extra $100 out of her for a filling. If you're after long waits, a car salesmans pitch and costly procedures that'll have you in the chair for up to 4 hours, this dentist is for you. We just wanted our teeth cleaned.

Terrible Dental Group! The two times I went in for my
Terrible Dental Group! The two times I went in for my appointment at Spanish Trail Dental I was early but waited nearly 45 minutes to be seen. It seemed both times I went in my name had been crossed off their roster and I was forgotten. Once in the chair I spent a total of two hours getting x rays and had a 2 minute talk with a dentist. They couldn't clean my teeth because the periodontist had already left. Uh-thats what I came in for! Terrible experience-front office workers are gabbing-not working!

sooooo disappointed
do NOT go to this dentist group. they NEVER call you for anything - they dont' call you to remind you of your appointments, they don't call you to tell you to come in, they don't tell you when your appt is cancelled. my friend rushed over from work, just to find her dentist had gone on vacation and no one called her. it took me almost 2 months to get a simple mouth guard, since they made me come in THREE times to get new impressions (i had to call everytime, asking where my mouth guard was, only to be told that i had to come in for more impressions...) i am definitely changing dentists when i move... WORST DENTAL GROUP EVER!‎
