Great for Art Students by Celena J. at InsiderPages
As an art student, Sarnoff is the best art store I've found. They have supplies and brands you won't at larger, chain retailers like Michael's or Joanne Fabric's. They're much smaller than these stores, because they specialize in art--not arts AND crafts. They also offer a student discount (I think it's 10%).

Sarnoff is not for the hobbyist or arts-n-crafts artist. They carry serious supplies for serious artists. At first glance their inventory may appear small, but what they have is top quality, and what they don't have, they will get for you.
